 개인적인 경험을 토대로 전체주의와 그 시스템에 대해 이야기한 《내 머리 속의 수도꼭지》, (대안공간 반디, 2006), 사회가 가진 악의적인 믿음과 환상을 다룬 《SOCIAL PLACEBO》, (오픈스페이스 배, 2008), 이데올로기의 형성과 반복되는 역사에 대한 《재단된 환상》, (수가화랑, 2013), 결혼제도와 국가의 인구문제를 연구한 《모호한 중력》, (KAF미술관, 2015), 시대의 어둠 속에서 무엇을 할 것인가에 대해 고민한 《깊고 어두운 밤의 잔여》, (공간 힘, 2016), 우리 시대의 이데올로기와 환상에 대해 질문하는 《어떤 믿음에 대하여》, (아마도예술공간, 2018), 노동자들의 현실과 사회의 인식을 비판한 《암묵적 전제들》, (오픈스페이스 배, 2019) 등 9회의 개인전을 열었다. 《미래를 걷는 사람들》, (부산현대미술관, 2018), 《부산비엔날레: 진화 속의 삶》, (부산시립미술관, 2010), 《광주비엔날레: 연례보고》, (광주비엔날레전시장, 2008) 등 국내외 다수의 전시에 참여했다. 현재 동의대학교 교수로 재직 중이다.

Kang has been invited in seven solo exhibitions including 《A faucet in my mind》, (Space Bandee, 2006) that talks about the totalitarianism and the system base on personal experiences, 《SOCIAL PLACEBO》, (Open space Bae, 2008) which covers subjects on deceptive faith and fantasy of society, 《Altered illusion》, (Gallery SUGA, 2013) that represents the formations of ideology and repetitive history, 《Ambiguous gravity》, (KAF Museum, 2015) that researches issues of marriage system and national population problems, and 《Remainders of deep dark night》, (Space Heem, 2016) that questions what to do for life and death in such a dark age of the society. The artist has been selected in many exhibitions worldwide such as 《Busan Biennale: Life in evolution》, (Busan Museum of Art, 2010), 《Bad boys, Here now》, (Gyeonggi Museum of Art, 2009), 《Gwangju Biennale: Annual report》, (Gwangju Biennale, 2008).
